A Little Announcement

Hey listeners! Whoever you may be, wherever you may be. Thanks for checking out my page and listening to my music. I really love you for that. I hope whatever your doing in your life is going great!

Well. I’m making this announcement because I want people to read back on this in the future and know what I did to start taking my music more seriously. I stopped and looked at my goal from multiple perspectives and realized I needed to organize my thoughts and actions in order for them to play out the way I want them to.

I’m going on a musical break for a while until I find “my sound.” I feel like the music I’ve been making has just been a recycled version of the most recent music I’ve been hearing in present popular mainstream music. If not that then I’ve been making music purposely made to be the exact opposite of mainstream music. Which doesn’t really feel natural to me, and I usually get tired of hearing it. Which to me means it isn’t real organic classic music that can be passed on from generation to genration. I believe there’s a difference between having fun with music; trying to create something new and personal, and really trying to achieve the best sound you can possibly make. Then I believe there is a balance between the three. Expressing the idea as best as possible for you and worldwide music lovers.

While on this musical break I will be researching countless inspirational legends art work, learning from those before me on what to do and what not to do to become a successful recording artist for the people of the world. I will also be experimenting with melodies, sounds, and lyrics of my own completely drawn from the deepest part of my imagination. It will also be drawn from how I perceive other art forms that aren’t directly music related like movies, short films, paintings, sculptures, relationships and life experiences.

I also want to start playing some instruments and start taking the time out to construct songs slowly and cleverly rather than speed writing, which I think can help me make the sound I’m aiming for. I’d like to consider myself a genre-less recording artist at heart because I enjoy all different kinds of sounds and refrain from discriminating against anyone or anything. The way I feel and the things I believe haven’t been matching up in my past music. I feel like music wise I was going in a different direction than I was planning to go with my life. In my perfect world I would like these two things to go hand and hand.

I need to take more control. I eventually want to create a sound that is an eternally entertaining original sound I can be proud of and I can jam to forever. Something I can play for any crowd, any age group. Something everyone can enjoy. Family, friends, girls, guys, children, even animals. I’m not sure if its possible for you to comprehend my vision or not but I’m going to do it.

Quality over quantity I always say, so sorry for the wait in advance. I’m an independent artist so it’s going to be a while before I can release some good quality sounding music sonically as well as quality crafted production and wordplay. Despite the fact that people around me want to hear frequent new music from me, I will not bow to the pressure and I will take my time with my future sounds.
